The Hanover Township Civil Service Commission is accepting applications for the following Entry Level Positions: Fire Apparatus Operator / Maintenance Person

Minimum Qualifications
The minimum qualifications with documentation for this position will include the following:
1.) Firefighter 1 Pro-Board Certification
2.) 472 Hazardous Materials Operations with Current Annual Refresher at the time of application
3.) Current CPR with PA EMT-B Certification
4.) Apparatus Pump Operations 1
5.) Aerial Apparatus Operations (preferred but not required)
6.) Emergency Vehicle Operations Course
7.) Vehicle Rescue Operations
8.) National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) 100-200-700-800
9.) Water Rescue Awareness (preferred but not required)
10.) High School Diploma or Graduate Equivalency Degree (GED)
11.) Citizen of the United States of America
12.) Valid PA Operators License (Minimum Class C)
13.) 18 Years of Age at time of Application
14.) Must be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties as required

Applications are available at the Hanover Township Municipal Building, 1267 Sans Souci Parkway, Hanover Township, PA 18706, in the Office of the Secretary, from 8:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. Applications must be returned no later than November 28, 2025 at 3:00pm. A copy of the High School Diploma or GED must accompany the application. Applications not completed in their entirety or received after this date will be rejected.
