The Hanover Township Fire Department proudly participated in the Luzerne County Department of Emergency Services Trunk or Treat event, which brought together first responders and community partners for a fun and safe Halloween celebration.

This year’s event saw an outstanding turnout, with over 1,300 children attending alongside their families. The evening featured decorated emergency vehicles, interactive displays, and plenty of treats, giving children a chance to meet local first responders in a positive and engaging environment.

Hanover Township Fire Department members distributed candy, showcased fire equipment, and shared important fire safety information with attendees. The event provided a great opportunity to strengthen community relationships while promoting safety awareness among children and families.

The department extends its appreciation to the Luzerne County Department of Emergency Services for organizing such a successful community event and to all the families who stopped by to visit and celebrate Halloween with local heroes.
