The Hanover Township Fire Department is proud to announce its participation in the annual Toys for Tots campaign, supporting the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s effort to bring holiday joy to children in need throughout Luzerne County.

From November 1 through December 15, 2025, the Fire Department will serve as an official Toys for Tots drop-off location. New, unwrapped toys can be donated at Hanover Township Fire Headquarters, located at 1586 Sans Souci Parkway, inside the front vestibule 24 hours a day.

“Toys for Tots is a tradition we look forward to every year,” said Assistant Fire Chief Chris Halecki. “Our community’s generosity helps make the holiday season a little brighter for local children and families who need it most.”

Community members are encouraged to contribute new toys for children of all ages — from infants to teenagers. All collected toys will be distributed by the Marine Corps Reserve to families in the local area to ensure that every child experiences the joy of the holidays.
