| Members of the Hanover Township Fire Department (HTFD) recently conducted a comprehensive facility familiarization and pre-incident planning walkthrough at the AT&T facility located on Lasley Avenue within the Township.
The walkthrough provided personnel with the opportunity to gain critical knowledge of the building’s layout, access points, and operational features. Crews reviewed key components such as utility shutoffs, fire protection systems, and potential hazards unique to the facility. This proactive approach ensures that responders are better prepared to operate safely and efficiently in the event of an emergency.
Pre-incident planning remains a vital part of the department’s mission, allowing firefighters to identify challenges before an incident occurs and develop strategies that support quick decision-making under pressure. By becoming familiar with commercial and industrial properties throughout the Township, HTFD enhances its ability to protect both occupants and property.
