Shortly after 8:00pm the 1st Alarm Structure Fire assignment was sent to the 200 Block of Phillips St in the Township's Lyndwood Section on the reported House Fire. Fire Command arrived quickly reporting nothing evident from the exterior of a 2 and 1 1/2 story residential dwelling. Upon further investigation by Command a minor smoke condition was noted in a laundry/bathroom on Side C of the home. No active fire was reported. A crew from Truck 4 was sent to the interior to investigate the source of the smoke. Truck 4 interior crew confirmed a small fire in a dryer near the electrical connection and ventilation hose and that the fire was out. Plymouth Engine 2 held the water supply on Phillips St and sent it's crew to the Delta side of the home to check for any potential extension with a thermal imagining camera. Nanticoke City RIT was cancelled prior to responding.
