| October 12, 2025 | |
| The Hanover Township Fire Department proudly attended the return of our annual Hanover Township Blue Mass on Sunday, October 12, 2025, honoring the dedicated service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and all first responders. The event, held at Exaltation of the Holy Cross Church, brought together members of the community, local clergy, elected officials, and first responders from across Hanover Township to recognize the vital role these men and women play in protecting and serving our community. The Blue Mass is a longstanding tradition within the first responder community, offering a time of reflection, remembrance, and gratitude for those who have given their lives in the line of duty, as well as support for those who continue to serve each day. During the service, prayers and blessings were offered for safety, strength, and unity among all public safety personnel. Representatives from Hanover Township Police and Fire Departments participated in the procession, and our Fire Department honor guard rendered appropriate tributes. Following the Mass, attendees gathered for fellowship and refreshments, strengthening the bonds between the departments and the residents they serve. The Hanover Township Fire Department extends sincere thanks to everyone who attended and supported this year’s Blue Mass and remains committed to fostering unity and appreciation among all members of the emergency services community. |
